MSU-Sulu celebrates 59th Founding Anniversary and 46th University Day.

The MSU-Sulu as campus unit of MSU-System celebrated its 59th Founding Anniversary and 46th University Day last September 1, 2020 at MSU-Sulu Gymnasium with the theme “ MSU at 59: Relentlessly Forging Ahead in the New Normal to Blaze New Paths for Quality Education”. This year’s occasion fostered the beginning of the new path of transformational learning amidst COVID-19 pandemic.

The program began with the invocation led by Prof. Ronnie Sammah and followed by Singing of National Anthem and Himno ng Pamantasan by Miss Amina Y. Sajili. Dr. Rafael A. Regellana, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs opened up the program formally. Chancellor Dr. Nagder J. Abdurahman shared and inspired before the students, faculty, staff, and other guests. Dr. Abdurahman pointed out the importance of delivering instruction through online platform.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the launching of MSUSSDeL (MSU Sulu System Deployment eLearning. This web app provides the following features for students and faculty members. It includes faculty profile, subject load, class list, embed videos from YouTube and for student features are personal profile, update information and currently subject taken. The program was officially closed by Prof. Abuzamier A. Asanji, J.D. the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance.
